Lets get down to business!

Keep in mind that you are what you eat! Did you know that when it comes to your weight loss or even weight gain goal, 70% is all about what you eat. For some reason we are all willing to kill ourselves in the gym, but when it comes down to eating a proper diet we fall short. We definitely have the "move more" concept down, but what about the eat less? Its time to get a handle on that and the best way to do it would be keeping a food journal. Write down what you are eating. Take it a step further and keep track of the calories. Here are a few nutrition tips to help you get started...

1. Cut out high calorie beverages..Escpecially SODAS. Even diet sodas! I will talk about the diet sodas in a later post.

2. Cut out fried foods and high sugary foods.

3. Eat breakfast

4. Increase your water consumption.
5. Eat more fruits and veggies.

If you were to follow those five steps alone you would see results. Im sure these are all tips you have heard before and probably often. There is a reason for that...they work! Good luck. Lets get started!

  1. Thanks for putting this site together, Natalie. I can't wait to read all of the good advice you will share with us. Thanks for being patient and supportive of my return. I'm sure I'll be up to speed (well, at least to my old speed) in no time.

Oh, and no soda for me for going on 7 weeks now. A huge deal for someone who loved her diet coke. And do you know what? I don't even miss it.
