Fresh produce Direct from the grower to you!

A friend told me about this organization that puts together baskests of locally grown fruits and vegetables. You place the order on the website and pick up your basket that week. The website to order at is click2pickproduce.com. The Fresh Produce baskets are $12.95.

I just placed my first order, so I will let you know how it goes. This is what the flyer says:

"Why pay grocery store prices for old produce when you can save money and get better quality? We bring the freshest produce direct from our farms to your area. Each basket contains enough produce to last 4-5 people for one week. Smaller family? No problem, buy the lite basket. Actual basket contents will vary from week to week, depending on seasonal availability. However, baskets will always contain a balanced mix of fresh, delicious fruits and vegetables. Order your basket today and see the difference fresh makes."

What a great way to incoperate more fruits and vegetables into your diet. Maybe it will even encourage you to find new recepies to use up all your veggies!
